Rhonda McKay

Rhonda McKay joined the faculty at Belmont in June 2009.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Belmont University.

McKay is a member of the American Montessori Society and has been a Lead Directress in a private Montessori school. Her prior work in early childhood involved developing enriching environments and programs with McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Ala. and coordinating academic and behavioral support for homeless children with the YWCA of Central Alabama.

She is the Assistant Director for the Montessori Teacher Education Program and teaches integrated curriculum classes specific to Montessori Certification.
