As a senior looking back, I feel so lucky to have chosen Belmont four years ago. I could never have imagined all the great things to come! Now, as I stand at yet another threshold to the rest of my life, I know that Belmont has prepared me well for the challenges ahead.
It is easy to get to know the professors here on a personal level, and I know they will go out of their way to help me achieve my academic and professional goals. Also, the small class size at Belmont allows for excellent discussion. In fact, being able to communicate and discuss during class encourages my classmates and me to question things and seek answers in various places that we might not otherwise look.
My participation in extracurricular activities like Greek life, English club, intramural sports, James Madison Society, and several honors societies has given me ambition as well as a chance to practice leadership skills and to excel aside from academics.
In retrospect, I see college as so much more than an education. It is changing and growing and becoming the person you are supposed to be. The best part is that here at Belmont, success isn't optional, it's the only option!
