Kate McGowan

Mrs. Kate McGowan is an Instructor of Education in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and serves as the Director of Clinical Practice for Student Teaching and Internships.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work at Auburn University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching at Belmont University.  Mrs. McGowan has experience working as an educator in early childhood classrooms, elementary, middle, and high school classrooms, as well as at the university level. 

Prior to being an Instructor at Belmont, Mrs. McGowan worked as a University Supervisor supporting teacher candidates through their first year of teaching.
