Dr. Vaughn is Chair of the Communication Studies Department and teaches courses in interpersonal communication and general education.
Her scholarly interests include instructional communication, and power in interpersonal relationships. She has published and presented on this subject in numerous forums.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, traveling and exploring middle Tennessee's parks with her husband, Cliff, and son, Jack.
