Camp Schedule

Daily Schedule

Students will be involved in large ensemble rehearsals, chamber music sessions, and master class lessons on their instrument. Students will be assigned to a chamber group that will best fit their playing experience and strengths. Master class lessons are taught by the Belmont applied wind and percussion faculty, giving each student the opportunity to receive personal attention. Jazz Ensemble is offered as an elective activity in the afternoon hours each day. Recreational activities and evening social events will provide ample balance during the week.  Students are under careful supervision by camp counselors during all activities.

Housing & Meals

Students will be housed in Belmont University dormitories. Roommates will be assigned randomly by gender unless roommate requests are indicated on the registration form.  While in the dormitories, participants will be under the careful supervision of the camp staff, and security will be a priority. All meals will be served in Harrington Place Dining Hall.

The camp is open to all woodwind, brass, and percussion students who will enter grades 9-12 in the upcoming fall semester. Discounts are available to students who have performed in Mid-State, All-East, All-West and top region honor bands in TN and other states. Additional discounts are available to students who have placed in their All-State Band.
