Adam McPhail

Adam McPhail holds a Master of Commercial Music Performance from Belmont University and a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Studies) from the University of Southern Mississippi. Adam has shared the stage or recorded with many artists/groups such as B.B. King, Dynamo, Jonny Lang, Vashawn Mitchell, The Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, Bucky Covington, Mark Lettieri, Chris Daughtry, Chantae Cann, Philip Lassiter, Cory Wong, Adam Doleac, Roosevelt Collier, Abby Anderson, Morgan Myles, Lisa Knowles, Jeff Coffin, Sinclair, Marcus Finnie, Michael B. Hicks, Derek Minor, and Jason Eskridge. While touring across the country, he has opened for artists/groups such as Little Big Town, The Marcus King Band, Tim McGraw, The Robert Glasper Experiment, Tracy Lawrence, FORQ, Shaun Martin, George Clinton, Becca Stevens, and Scotty McCreery. 

Apart from touring, Adam is involved with music ministry in church and has experience doing studio work around the Nashville area. He has recorded on numerous R&B, jazz, funk, country, and contemporary Christian records. Adam has also recorded on cues that have been featured on the Outdoor Channel, History Channel, Showtime Network, USA Network, Discovery Channel, and Netflix. Adam is a proud endorser of Cordial Premium German Guitar Cables, Framus & Warwick Rockboard, Truetone, and BOSS. Adam was a featured Cordial demonstrator at the 2019 Winter NAMM convention in Anaheim, California, as well as a featured BOSS demonstrator at the 2019 Summer NAMM convention in Nashville, TN. During the 2019 Summer NAMM convention, McPhail was interviewed by Premier Guitar Magazine on behalf of BOSS effects pedals and amplifiers, and he also represented BOSS as a demonstrator during the Best of Show Award Ceremony. Mr. McPhail joined the Belmont guitar faculty as an Adjunct Professor of Guitar in 2017 shortly after graduating from Belmont.
