Graduate Music Auditions

College of Music & Performing Arts

Why Belmont?

Belmont's Master of Music programs offer its students the best of both worlds - a small community of elite musicians pursuing professional graduate degrees housed within a large, vibrant and diverse School of Music. Located at the end of historic Music Row near the heart of Nashville, Belmont's quiet, neighborhood campus provides a peaceful, inspiring environment for musicians to practice and learn.

Our nationally recognized faculty is here to offer personal support and guidance to each student in the program - this means that your seminars and classes are kept small to allow professors to work with you one on one. In addition, our mentoring committees work to nurture each musician in the program and guide them towards challenging and rewarding programs of study.

Belmont offers abundant performance and teaching opportunities to its graduate students. Of course, if you study at Belmont, you will be living in Nashville, Tennessee - a city with unparalleled opportunities for musicians of all kinds.

Many resources are available on Belmont's campus: a comprehensive music library with full-time staff; the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, a 1,700 seated theatre with state-of-the-art equipment and acoustical technologies; the Massey Performing Arts Center, which contains the 1,000-seat Massey Concert Hall and the 100-seat Harton Recital Hall; the Wilson Music Building, with music technology labs, a vocal arts lab, numerous classrooms, studios and practice rooms; and a 876-seat venue for acoustic performances, McAfee Concert Hall.
