Rachel Rigsby, Ph.D.
Dr. Rigsby received a BA in Chemistry from Kentucky Wesleyan College and a Ph. D. in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University, where she studied the enzymology of microbial antibiotic resistance. She arrived at Belmont in 2005 and currently teaches General Chemistry and Biochemistry. She is married and enjoys gardening and other outdoor activities.
