Brad Ward
Brad Ward is excited to return to Nashville from London, England where he worked as Sound Project Manager for Blitz Communications and a freelance Sound Designer. Previous work includes: Designer for Acoustic Dimensions in New York City, Production Manager for Holy Trinity Brompton/Alpha International in London, Lead Audio for Cirque du Soleil’s The Beatles LOVE in Las Vegas, Director of Entertainment and Technical Services at Lipscomb University in Nashville where Brad was selected as Faculty/Staff Member of the semester in 2000, adjunct faculty at Mountview Academy in London and The University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Brad was the coordinator of Great Britain Missions for Lipscomb University 1992-2001 and remains involved in various youth projects in the UK.
Brad holds an MFA degree in Sound Design from Yale School of Drama and a BS in Computer Science/Management from Lipscomb University.
Recent UK sound designs include Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee Celebration in Manchester, The Lady From the Sea (associate) at The Rose, .45 at The Hampstead Theatre Downstairs, PMQ at Theatre 503, 42nd Street and The Secret Garden at Mountview Academy. Project manager for Abigail’s Party at The Wyndham’s.
Brad’s design for The Methuselah Tree for Cockroach Theatre won the World Stage Design 2009 Sound Design Award. Brad won the USITT Clear-Com Award for Achievement in Sound for his design of The Jammer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2004.
