Ileia Hook

Ileia HookIleia Hook, who hails from the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, has found her home in Nashville since 2009. She became passionate about student services during her time as an undergraduate student at Northern Illinois University. Upon relocating to Tennessee as a Belmont University Residence Director (2009-2012), she knew that this institution was where she wanted to impact student lives for the better. Although she took a brief occupational intermission to assume the role of Senior Worship Leader (2012-2016) for local megachurch, Bethel World Outreach, Ileia now presides as Admissions Coordinator for Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business where she has daily opportunities to mentor, encourage, celebrate, and serve our bright and ambitious students.
Ileia is also a seasoned vocalist and worship leader who has lent her vocal abilities to various artists ranging from Grammy Award winning country group, Lady Antebellum, to Grammy nominated Gospel sensation, Todd Dulaney. She has also shared the stage with American Idol favorite and Contemporary Christian artist: Danny Gokey, international “Planetshakers” worship leader: Henry Seeley, gospel guru and youngest of “The Winans”: Debbie Winans Lowe, and Dove Award winning Christian group “Avalon” front man: Jody McBrayer, amongst others. Ileia continues to sing BGVs for various artists as a live and session vocalist when not on the Belmont campus.

Beyond the music and beyond the job description, Ileia’s greatest desire is to see people transformed by the love of Christ and to help students come into the fullness of their greatest God-given gifts. You can follow Ileia on most social media outlets at @ileiasharae.Save
