The Curb College offers internships where students work under the guidance of a faculty mentor in cooperation with professional sponsors who are a daily part of the Music and Entertainment Industry.
Internships allow the student to focus and solidify her/his professional strengths, goals, and career path while expanding basic knowledge, experience, and industry contacts. The college does not directly place students in internships; however, through an extensive database of sponsors, the Intern Office is able to assist students in locating available opportunities with interested companies. While Nashville is the dominant location, internships are available nationwide and in select foreign locations.
All internships are required to have career-oriented learning outcomes designed in cooperation with her/his faculty mentor and professional sponsor. Internship participation is not a requirement for graduation and more often than not, internships are unpaid. Please note that the Curb College does not advocate or support internships where academic credit, learning outcomes, and faculty guidance are not given as a part of the course of study.
