Internship/Co-op Education Program
The Belmont University Internship/Cooperative Education Program is designed to provide a student with the opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional work environment. This program is based on the principle that significant and meaningful learning can be identified and achieved on the job if it's a planned experience.
The Internship/Cooperative Education Program is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors. A student may earn a sum total of six hours elective credit for his/her cooperative education/internship experience while in attendance at Belmont University. The student may work part-time, full-time, off-campus or on-campus in either paid or volunteer positions. Grading is on a pass/fail basis.

- The student's job MUST relate to his/her educational and/or occupational goals.
- The student must be in good standing with the university in order to be eligible for the Internship/Cooperative Education Program. No student may be enrolled in the Internship/Cooperative Education Program if he/she is on probation with Belmont University.
