Activity Zones
The proposed campus is divided into five activity zones that are based on similarities in activities, purpose and design. It is the intent of these zones to address the specific context of the adjoining neighborhoods while providing a unified sense of place and appearance for the overall campus.

Traffic, Parking and Pedestrian Planning
Belmont will provide adequate on campus parking for its students, faculty, and staff; develop patterns of vehicular circulation that minimize impact on surrounding neighborhoods, and encourage pedestrian use of campus by pursuing the development of well designed walkways and green spaces.

Belmont intends to enhance the visual attractiveness of its campus by providing for abundant green space and effective buffering and screening between campus facilities and private neighborhood residences

Lighting
It is Belmont's intent with regard to exterior lighting improvements and provisions to provide integrated function and appearances within the campus and to provide compatible function and appearance between the campus and adjoining neighborhoods.
