Student Organizations

The Jack C. Massey College of Business offers a variety of co-curricular leadership and learning opportunities to qualifying students in the form of student organizations and honors societies.

Association for Information Systems (AIS) - The premier professional association for individuals and organizations who lead the research, teaching, practice and study of informations systems worldwide. 

American Marketing Association (AMA) - A professional association for individuals and organizations involved in the practice, teaching and study of marketing worldwide. As a collegiate member, students have immediate opportunities for professional development and networking as well as access to the latest in news, insights and information. 

Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) - An international honorary organization for undergraduate and graduate accounting, finance and information systems majors. BAP recognizes scholastic and professional excellence, and its activities compliment its members' formal educations.

Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) - An international honor society that provides the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate (graduate) program at a school accredited by AACSB International.

Business Student Advisory Board (BSAB) - An on-campus organization open to select undergraduate students in the Jack C. Massey College of Business who demonstrate leadership potential and an interest in academic enrichment.  Members have the opportunity to network, provide important feedback, develop business skills and serve the school and community.

Collegiate DECA - A student-driven organization that values innovation, integrity, teamwork and competence. Members coordinate and participate in networking, community service, and entrepreneurship enrichment programs. Members have the opportunity to showcase their skills while competing against their peers at the International Career Development Conference in such areas as marketing, management and entrepreneurship.

Enactus - An international non-profit organization that helps students to develop the skills necesary to become socially responsible business leaders. Located on more than 1,700 college campuses worldwide, Enactus teams work with leaders in business and higher education to create economic opportunities in their communities by participating in projects that focus on market economics, entrepreneurship, success skills, environmental sustainability, business ethics and financial literacy. 

Ethics Bowl Team - The Ethics Bowl Team is comprised of undergraduate students who have an interest in the application of ethical principles in a competitive environment. Team members study cases prior to competition and are questioned regarding a particular case. 

Equity Trading Club - The mission of the Equity Trading Club is to create a fellowship that enables students that have an interest in the financial markets to share their ideas and to research on investments. More...

International Business Society (IBS) - An on-campus organization comprised of Belmont students interested in the field of international business.  Members come from various backgrounds and majors but are united by their interests in international business issues and career opportunities.

Omicron Delta Epsilon - The International Honor Society for Economics. Click here for more information about Omicron Delta Epsilon. Faculty Advisor: Dr. Kara Smith.  

Sigma Nu Tau is the only honor society dedicated to entrepreneurship. The organization seeks to promote, recognize, and reward academic excellence in entrepreneurship and to encourage and recognize the practice of principled entrepreneurship. Membership is open to junior and senior entrepreneurship majors who have earned a 3.0 Belmont cumulative GPA or above, who are in good standing with the university and have completed the majority of coursework at Belmont.
