History and Mission

The Massey School was founded in 1986 through a gift from Jack C. Massey, one of the country's most successful entrepreneurs. Mr. Massey wanted Belmont University to provide a practical graduate business program to meet the needs of working professionals. The 'after-six' program was developed after extensive interaction with both the Nashville business community and other national MBA programs.
