Stelling holds a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Education from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University and has completed 40+ credits hours of graduate study in business administration.  Currently a technical consultant in information technology for the Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration, Stelling was previously an adjunct faculty member at the Massey Graduate School of Business, where he taught management communications in the MBA program.  He has taught GMAT Strategy, GRE Strategy, and GMAT/GRE Foundations of Mathematics courses for 15 years to more than 1,500 students, receiving consistently excellent student evaluations for his classroom methods and his ability to "demystify" GMAT and GRE verbal and quantitative material.

Stelling combines an extensive teaching background with firsthand experience with the GMAT (his scores on previous tests, including a 770, are consistently at the 98th and 99th percentile levels) and a thorough understanding of the approaches used by GMAT developers to presenting GMAT verbal and mathematics material.  Stelling provides a fast-paced, comprehensive course targeted to a wide range of student needs and levels.  He also teaches the Massey School GMAT Foundations of Mathematics course, designed to prepare students for the rigorous material covered in the quantitative sections of the GMAT Strategies course, and the Massey School GRE Strategies and GRE Foundations of Mathematics courses.
