Massey Graduating Class - December 2008

Welcome. . .

. . . to The Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business at Belmont University.  We invite you to explore all that Massey offers as an internationally-accredited and award-winning graduate business program.

The Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business at Belmont University was founded in 1986, with a stated mission of providing business education and thought leadership to the working professionals of Nashville and the middle Tennessee region.  To this day, we continue to offer each of our graduate programs in an evening format (6:15 – 9:00 p.m., Monday – Thursday) that is work-friendly and can be customized to meet the needs and career  goals of each student.

AACSB logo Our flagship Professional MBA  (work experience required) and Masters of Accountancy (MACC) programs boast a combined 1,400 alumni, the majority of whom continue to live and work in the greater Nashville area. The recent addition of our Accelerated MBA (AMBA) program (two or less years of prior work experience) now offers a similar work-friendly format for less experienced professionals seeking to gain a solid foundation in business skills as they launch their business careers.

Why Massey?  Our people are the real reason.  Begin with a seasoned group of doctorally-qualified faculty who are academically-trained but also professionally-experienced.  As business leaders, our alumni are proud of the programs from which they have graduated and continue to play a major role in shaping the curriculum and learning opportunities of current and future students.  And our program staff is second to none—individuals who provide exemplary levels of customer support and service quality.  The combined contributions of our people have helped us create an outstanding learning community where students can realize their true potential.  And the innovative Massey Passport program offers our graduates an unheard of opportunity for alumni to return to campus and continue their education throughout their careers—truly an opportunity for lifelong learning.

Princeton Review

Consider our references.  AACSB International has accredited both our business and accounting programs, and we are currently the only private university in Tennessee to hold this distinction.  Princeton Review has named us as A Best Business School for the fifth straight year, and BusinessWeek ranks our part-time MBA program 18th in the U.S.  We invite you to talk to any of our alumni if you want additional information on Massey program quality.  They continue as our greatest ambassadors!

If you are seeking an outstanding graduate business program that will both challenge and inspire you while also preparing you for a successful career in business management and leadership, then Massey is the place for you.  Our faculty and students are focused on better understanding the domestic and international marketplace and how it is continually being transformed through emerging trends in the dynamic global environment.

Whether you are a prospective student, a business professional interested in expanding your business knowledge and skill Business Weekset, or an alumnus returning to continue your education by tapping into the Massey network, we welcome your interest and look forward to working with you.   Bottom line - your success is limitless.  To learn more, why not visit us?  We invite you to attend one of our monthly Information Sessions or to schedule a personal visit with a Massey admissions representative.
