BIOGRAPHY

 
Dr. Christophe Van Linden is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Belmont University.  Before relocating to Nashville, he was a visiting Ph.D. student with the University of Florida's Fisher School of Accounting.

Dr. Van Linden holds an M.S. in Commercial Engineering with an Accounting major as well as a B.S. in Commercial Engineering from the University of Antwerp in Belgium. His research and teaching interests include auditing, archival auditing, forensic accounting, and financial accounting.  

Prior to joining the Massey College of Business Administration, he served as a teaching assistant in the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Faculty of Business and Economics as well as a lecturer in auditor ethics at the University of Antwerp.  Professionally, Dr. Van Linden was employed by PriceWaterhouseCoopers (Antwerp) as an auditor.  Dr. Van Linden is a Ph.D. student member of AAA, EAA, and EARNET as well as a member of Transparency International Belgium. He speaks three languages - Dutch, English, and French.
