Dr. Assouad has been teaching, researching and serving in the academic world for over 7 years. Dr. Assouad believes that all three pillars of advanced learning work synergistically together, and that being active in each arena is imperative, this is reflected in Dr. Assouad’s diverse research and community engagements.

First from a research perspective, Dr. Assouad’s focus is on the institutional environment, specifically in the emerging market context. In conjunction, Dr. Assouad is then able to share new and relevant research from this stream, teaching both strategic management and international business. Finally, in terms of service, Dr. Assouad presently holds various positions amongst a myriad of not-for profit institutions. First, the Global Action Platform, a think tank focused on the innovation economy, second, X-Culture, as an avid advisory board member, professor and evangelist, and finally, Dr. Assouad has served as track and session chairs for AIBSE for the last 3 years, whilst having also served as a reviewer for both AIB and AIBSE for the last 6 years.
