The Entrepreneurship Club (E-Club)
The Center for Entrepreneurship in the College of Business Administration at Belmont University is dedicated to promoting and cultivating students' entrepreneurial spirits regardless of their major. All entrepreneurially-minded students are invited to participate.
In addition to the other activities offered through the co-curricular programming, students can join the Entrepreneurship Club (E-Club). Members of E-Club host a variety of events on campus, such as bringing in local entrepreneurs and world-class speakers to learn about a variety of entrepreneurship challenges and, most importantly, opportunities. E-Club members also actively participate in local community service and non-profit organizations.
Members also become involved in Delta Epsilon Chi (ΔΕΧ), the collegiate division of DECA (www.deltaepsilonchi.org).
DEX continues the Center's co-curricular programming by offering additional opportunities for hands-on learning. DEX members sponsor local entrepreneurs to speak on campus, are active in community service, and attend national conventions and competitions each year.
For the second consecutive year, Belmont's DEX team won first and second places in the Entrepreneurship Challenge competition and first place in the Entrepreneurship competition during the 2009 International Career Development Conference and Competition in Anaheim, CA.
Join us for Delta Epsilon Chi meetings every Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Massey Business Center (MBC) Room 414. Meetings and membership are open to entrepreneurially-minded students from all academic majors.
