- The Executive Learning Networks have no more than 20-25 total member organizations (depending on individual member numbers from each company) to maximize opportunities for networking.
- The membership is focused on senior leaders: the CEO and up to 5 direct reports. Annual dues for the entire organization are $5K. Additional senior staff members may be added at a nominal cost.
- Belmont University serves as the primary meeting location.
- Belmont's Center for Professional Development serve as the organizational and coordinating force; the Nashville Management Group serves as program facilitators for the Peer Exchange Network.
- Some 'Best Practice' sessions are held at the site of a member company.
- Meeting content consists of:
- member organizations sharing 'Best Practices'
- bringing in world-class speakers
- facilitated workshop style sessions
- small group discussions sometimes following presentations by speakers
- Meetings are held 6-8 times a year, basically on a bimonthly basis.
- Meetings are usually held in the early morning enabling participants to get most of a full day's work in after the meeting. Lunch meetings or workshops may be added.
- The interests of members regarding:
- Prospective speakers
- Programs, meeting topics
- Prospective members
- Meeting time, format and details are determined through
- Annual surveying of members

- Focused luncheons highlighting specific topics of interest to segments of the membership are held 2-3 times per year.
Our participants consistently affirm that these Executive Learning Networks provide an executive education experience they cannot get anywhere else. The discussion, networking, and organizational operation remain apolitical and extraordinarily healthy. The Executive Learning Networks grew from the idea that we need to 'look outside our own boxes' for new ideas and to learn from the experiences of others. This principle has held true throughout the 15 year history of the concept and has proven to be the basis for a most successful program.
'The result of bringing leaders together in an environment of mutual, shared learning is immensely powerful.'
