Overview


We will design an instructionally sound, best-in-class learning experience, under the guidance of a group of Consortium Advisors, comprised of a representative from each member company.

Over a twelve month period participants will meet monthly for structured learning; to develop relationships with participants from other Middle Tennessee companies; and to increase their depth of understanding of their roles as leaders in their organizations through out-of-class assignments.

Objectives

  • Personal Leadership Development
    To gain insight and awareness of styles, skills, areas of development
    To provide opportunities to learn new skills, and improve personal effectiveness
  • Organizational Leadership Development
    To practice personal leadership in a business context
    To understand the systemic nature of organizations and how to be an effective leader
  • Leadership Development Across Company Boundaries
    To create new relationships with leaders in other Middle Tennessee companies
    To understand the systemic nature of the business community

It is becoming increasingly clear that developing leaders is not a luxury. Leadership development is a strategic necessity.
