About the Center

The Center for International Business (CIB) serves as a center of excellence through which Belmont University's Jack C. Massey College of Business (MCB) implements numerous internationalization and global outreach activities. The CIB was created in 2009 when Belmont University MCB was awarded its first-ever Business and International Education grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The two-year grant supported the enhancement of international business education at Belmont University and sponsored international business education programs for the Nashville business community. Since that time, the CIB has continued to expand its program of offerings, always with the goal of preparing students and the Nashville-area business community to "engage and transform the world."

The Mission of the Center for International Business is to create international trade and business awareness, knowledge, and opportunities for each of our stakeholders through excellent teaching, research and service.
