Ana Aspras Steele: 21st Century Slavery

Dr. Steele is executive director of the Dalit Freedom Network USA, which has launched 100 schools, nine medical clinics, and a nurses’ training school and hospital, and created more than 1,700 micro-finance groups. Professor Steele, who taught at Harvard Law School for more than eight years, spearheaded the first legislation to help the 250 million untouchables in the Hindu caste system.

Ming Wang: Healthcare as Ministry

Dr. Wang is a path-breaking eye surgeon with degrees from Harvard Medical School and MIT. After suffering through the Cultural Revolution in China, he came to the U.S. and became a follower of Christ. He established the Wang Foundation for Sight Restoration, which has provided free surgeries for patients from 40 states and 55 countries and the Wang Foundation for Christian Outreach to China.

Becca Stevens: Called to Serve

Rev. Becca Stevens is an Episcopal priest and founder of Magdalene House & Thistle Farms, a community and social enterprise that stands with women recovering from violence, prostitution, addiction and life on the streets. She has been featured on NPR, PBS and CNN. Recently, she was named by the White House as one of 15 Champions of Change. Her latest book is Funeral for a Stranger: Thoughts on Life and Love.
