Freshman Fitness Convocation Program

Freshman Fitness directly ties in with the Beaman Center’s fitness campaign, BFit•BU.  Our
mission is to educate the Belmont Community on ways to eat right and exercise.  Through a
series of convocations, special programming, and a giant kickoff, Freshman Fitness is the place
to learn how to keep your body healthy and in shape, no matter what season!
 
The Freshman Fitness program was designed with the Freshman class in mind.  But don’t let
that deter you upperclassmen, faculty, and staff from learning more about health and fitness! 
In conjunction with Residence Life, we offer special convocations programs the 3rd Friday of
each month at 10am in the Group Fitness Room in the Beaman Center.  To learn more about
the Convocations, please see below.  Each year during Week 1, we also host a huge Freshman-

Convocations

Beaman Group Fitness has partnered with Residence Life to bring you the Freshman Fitness
Convocation Series.  Each convocation, centered around education, exercise, or eating healthy,
takes place on the 3rd Friday of each month during the regular academic semester at 10am in
the Group Fitness Room in the Beaman Center. At each program, you can expect to find great
information, enthusiastic speakers, and great prizes!  We have given away free Guest passes to
the Beaman Center, free Bruin Bucks, gift cards, exercise equipment and more!  Everyone has
a chance to win at each convocation.
