Jennifer Haston

Adjunct Professor, Technical Assistant

After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, Jennifer Haston left Seattle for graduate school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she received her MFA in Printmaking in 2005. She considers life to be a creative experiment and may be found combining all types of materials and mediums in different contexts. Whether she is combining printmaking with her love of quilting or creating sculptural forms in a garden environment, being involved in the artistic process occupies her time. Tennessee’s natural beauty also inspires her work. She records, or plays with these experiences through photography, watercolor, and video. Her love of the environment also affects her position as the art departments Technical Assistant. As Technical Assistant she works to keep the Art Department up to date with EPA and OSHEA standards.
