Hi there! My name is Lauren Lauzon and I'm so excited to help you find your place at Belmont, whether you're coming from across town or around the globe.

I recently moved to Nashville and I'm happy to share what I've learned as a transplant and give you some advice on how to transition if you're new to the city. I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology from Agnes Scott College (a women's college in Atlanta) where I fell in love with working with prospective students as a tour guide. I went on to work in enrollment at several other colleges in Georgia and Indiana and I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University before landing at Belmont. I am truly in love with the Bruin spirit and vibrant sense of community here, which is something you will sense as soon as you walk on campus.

Outside of the office, I spend my time indulging in creative endeavors of all kinds. I am constantly experimenting with something new, from making garlands to photography to trying my hand at watercolor calligraphy. This is my way of connecting with others, brightening my space, and relieving stress along the way. Outside of these hobbies, I am a huge Georgia Tech sports fan, avid watcher of Formula 1 racing, and a live music lover. I have an extensive travel bucket list and love getting outdoors whenever I'm in a new city. I look forward to learning more about you and exploring your interest in Belmont University!
