Hello! My name is John Palmer Rea, and I’m so excited to help you through your college search process. Though I was born in Mississippi, I grew up in southern Illinois before moving down to Nashville in 2010. I’m a proud alumnus of Belmont, having graduated in May 2014 with my Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, and then joining the Admissions team. Through my involvement in our student organizations as well as our Honors Program, I met other creative, intelligent, and inspiring minds that make up our unique, tight-knit community. When I’m not on the Belmont campus, you can find me exploring all that the great city of Nashville has to offer from concerts, sporting events, restaurants, and everything in between. My passion lies in helping students find a place that feels like home, and I hope that place for you is Belmont. I look forward to meeting you and let me be the first to say:  welcome to Belmont!
