Tower Team Leaders



The core of the orientation experience features Tower Team Leaders. These student leaders complete over 90 hours of training on how to support new students through their transition to Belmont during the fall semester.

In August over 160 Tower Team Leaders guide your Tower Team of 10 new students through the exciting week of social, spiritual, intellectual and physical activities as you participate in Welcome Week.

Tower Teams are comprised of First Year Student groups and Transfer Student groups to meet the different needs of our new students.


Interested in becoming a Tower Team Leader

for Fall 2014?

First Year Tower Team Leaders will serve a group of 10 first-year students and Transfer Tower Team Leaders will serve a group of approximately 25 transfer students.

2014 Tower Team Leader Application Timeline

  1. Taking applications: Sunday, January 5 - Sunday, January 19 at 11:59pm
  2. Group Process Interviews: Choose one time on Saturday, January 25 or Sunday, January 26
  3. Notification for Individual Interview: Monday, January 27
  4. Individual Interviews: Wednesday, January 29 - Friday, February 14
  5. Final Notification to all applicants: Friday, February 21
