With two entry-level degree options, Belmont provides excellent preparation to become a licensed professional in this dynamic field. Both programs are fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD)
The entry-level doctoral program is a full-time day program for those who have completed a bachelor’s degree at a regionally accredited college or university in any major.
Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT)
The master’s degree program is designed primarily for occupational therapy assistants (OTAs). A limited number of spaces in the program are also available to current PTAs who have worked with an occupational therapist. The full-time program is offered in a format that combines on-campus classes supplemented by online coursework.
