This section is designed to keep our current students informed regarding requirements, policies and important dates.  Please let us know if anything needs to be added by sending an email to nursing@belmont.edu.

ADVISING INFORMATION

Academic Advising for Spring 2010 is November 4-13. Be sure to sign up for an advising appointment during this time. Please make sure that you bring your completed registration form and draw slip with you to your appointment. Priority registration begins Monday, November 16.

The last day of class for the Fall 2009 semester is Tuesday, December 8.  Academic Preparation Day will be Wednesday, December 9.   

Final examinations are December 10-15.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

Classes begin Wednesday, August 26.

Labor Day is Monday, September 7.  The university will be closed in observation of Labor Day.  Classes will resume Tuesday, September 8.

Fall Break is Thursday, October 15- Friday, October 16.  Classes resume on Monday, October 19.

Thanksgiving Break is Wednesday, November 25- Friday, November 27.  Classes resume on Monday, November 30.

Details regarding the Nursing Excellence Celebration will be announced at a later date.  Attendance is encouraged for all nursing students.

GRADUATING SENIORS

The Fall 2009 School of Nursing Pinning Ceremony will be Thursday, December 17 from 5:00-7:00pm.  More details will be posted as they become available.

Graduation rehearsal is Friday, December 18 at 1:30pm.  The undergraduate commencement ceremoney will take place on Friday, December 18,  2009 at 7:30pm in the Curb Event Center.  For more information, please refer to the Registrar's website.
